8 - annual gas fired equipment inspection on file; gas units equipped with automatic safety and/or 100% cut-off pilot
Regulation: 511-6-2-.15(5) - heating and fire safety-inspection
EHS observed no gas-fired equipment inspection report availible for view at time of inspection.
511-6-2-.15(5) - Heating and Fire Safety-Inspection All gas-fired equipment shall be inspected at least annually by a qualified licensed contractor or local fire authority, if available. Points to be inspected are proper construction and installation, malfunctions and adjustments of controls and burners, faulty heat exchangers and vent obstructions. Any defects found on inspection must be corrected by a qualified heating contractor prior to use of the equipment. Upon request, the operator shall provide evidence of inspection and/or correction of any deficiency.
CA: EHS advised the PIC that the gas-equipment inspection should be acquired as soon as possible becauase it is an annual requirement. EHS advised the PIC that further encforcement action could be possible due to this continual violation
27 - all furniture, waste receptacles, draperies, carpets; clean, and in good repair, considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation
Regulation: 511-6-2-.14(5) - condition of furnishings
EHS observed the following:
- Dusty / dirty a/c unit filters in the following rooms 113, 101, 209, 330, 325, 317
- Damaged a/c unit filter in-need of replacing in room 325

CA: EHS advised the PIC to ensure housekeepers are cleaning the a/c unit filters regurlarly

EHS observed the following:
- wear to the front fascia of the microwave in rooms 201 and 317
- Hole in wall - visible its been repaired with wall paper and glue, but the glue is failing revealing the hole and drywall
- Cracking / damage to the sun blocking shades in rooms 113, 209, 201

CA: EHS advised the PIC that the observed microwaves and sunshades should be repaired, if possible, or replaced. The observed hole in the wall should be re-repaired, with long lasting solution
