Routine
28 - beds, mattresses, mattress pads, springs, frames, pillows, and bed coverings clean; vermin free and in good condition; bed linen properly supplied, changed and laundered
Regulation: 511-6-2-.14(6) - bed, bedding, and linens
EHS observed the following items:
- Rm 103: light yellow stains on the mattress pads and sheets
- Rm 108: dark grey stain on the sheet
- Rm 209: yellow stains on mattress pad; yellow ring stain on the mattress
511-6-2-.14(6) - Bed, Bedding, and Linens Washable mattress pads or covers shall be used on all mattresses. Beds, mattresses, springs, slats, mattress pads, mattress and bed coverings, pillow and pillow covers shall be clean and free from vermin. Each bed shall be provided, as a minimum, with two sheets and one pillow and pillowcase. After each occupancy and upon the request of the occupant, sheets and pillowcases shall be changed with fresh laundered linens. During occupancy, linens shall be changed at a minimum frequency of not less than weekly.
CA: EHS advised the PIC that the observed linens should be cleaned and replaced. If stains can not be removed, linen should be discarded and replaced
