Observed little to no chlorine present during water testing. EHS readings were 0.67 and combined chlorine was 0.9. PIC informed EHS that pool takes a min to filter out chemicals (c) Free Chlorine level in pools using cyanuric acid or a stabilized chlorine product; Minimum 2.0 Ideal 2.0-5.0 Maximum 10.0

Informed PIC to adjust pool chemicals. This must be corrected by 07/18/24

Observed little to no chlorine present during water testing. EHS readings were 0.22 for FCL and 0.2 for combined Chlorine. Per speaking with CPO, the pool has not been maintained yet due to shortage of staff c) Free Chlorine level in pools using cyanuric acid or a stabilized chlorine product; Minimum 2.0 Ideal 2.0-5.0 Maximum 10.0

EHS observed low cyanuric acid levels in pool. The ideal is between 30-50. The reading was 13. Pools using a stabilizer such as a cyanuric acid reading should be between 30-50. Informed CPO to have chemicals adjusted. This must be corrected by 07/18/24

Observed previous missing fencing still damaged as well as other areas on fencing that are not intact. (g) Failure to provide and maintain a barrier to inhibit unauthorized access to the outdoor facility when required. EHS informed the CPO/maintenance guy of the need to repair the noted areas.

EHS informed PIC of the need to balance water chemistry. Per CPO, with the current weather the water was last balance on Monday.

EHS was unable to obtain a combined chlorine reading during water testing. (1) Disinfectant Levels (a) Free chlorine, ppm in pools not using cyanuric acid or a stabilized chlorine compound use (b),1.-5. EHS informed CPO of the need to balance the water chemistry.

Observed facility had purchased the wrong NO DIVING non-slip stickers for the pool deck near the waterline. (a) The words "No Diving" and the universal international symbol for “NO DIVING” shall be permanently visible at the edge of the deck for water five feet in depth or less, placed only on the deck beside the depth markers, and shall conform to that outlined for depth markers in subsections (3)(a) thru (h) above. EHS informed PIC of the need to purchase the corrected tile/nonslip stickers with 4 inch lettering.

Observed facility's need to purchase the risk of drowning, supervise children closely signage in 4 inch lettering. (b) Where no lifeguard is on duty, a sign or signs shall be placed in clear view at or near the entrance to the pool and shall state in clearly legible letters at least four inches high “WARNING - NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY and RISK OF DROWNING - SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY”. Facility has the Warning, no nlife guard on duty signage but need to purchase the risk of drowning, supervise children closely signage in 4 inch letters.
