8 - annual gas fired equipment inspection on file; gas units equipped with automatic safety and/or 100% cut-off pilot
Regulation: 511-6-2-.15(5) - heating and fire safety-inspection
EHS observed no gas-fired equipment inspection available for view during inspection. The PIC indicated that an inspection was performed recently, but he wasn't present at the time of inspection and the file may have been misplaced.
511-6-2-.15(5) - Heating and Fire Safety-Inspection All gas-fired equipment shall be inspected at least annually by a qualified licensed contractor or local fire authority, if available. Points to be inspected are proper construction and installation, malfunctions and adjustments of controls and burners, faulty heat exchangers and vent obstructions. Any defects found on inspection must be corrected by a qualified heating contractor prior to use of the equipment. Upon request, the operator shall provide evidence of inspection and/or correction of any deficiency
CA: EHS advised the PIC that the gas-fired equipment inspection report must be available for view by EHS during inspections; proper action should be taken to ensure records are stored on-site. Additionally, EHS informed the PIC that an inspection should be acquired as soon as possible if they become aware that one was not performed yet this year as they are required annually

EHS observed the most recent TA inspection report not on display for view. The report posted by the establishment presents a grade of 100; however, the most recent inspection was performed on 09/02/2025 and resulted in a grade of 89
511-6-2-.05(7) - Inspection Posting The most recent tourist accommodation inspection report form shall be prominently displayed in public view at all times, between five feet and seven feet from the floor and in a public area such as the registration desk, where it can be read at a distance of one foot away.
CA: EHS advised the PIC that the most recent TA inspection report is to be displayed at all times; the inspection report generated from today's inspection should be posted once acquired
