Observed waffle maker directly on the floor next to the three compartment sink. Discussed with employee, they mentioned waffle maker is used at breakfast when needed.

- Except as specified in paragraph 4 of this subsection, cleaned equipment and utensils, laundered linens, and single-service and single-use articles shall be stored:
(i) In a clean, dry location;
(ii) Where they are not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and
(iii) At least 6 inches (15 centimeters) above the floor. 2. Clean equipment and utensils shall be stored as specified under paragraph 1 of this subsection and shall be stored:
Corrective action: Discussed with PIC to maintain equipment at least 6" off the ground and at a location where it will not be exposed to contamination.
15B - warewashing facilities: installed, maintained, used; test strips

Observed three compartment water reaching temperatures below 110F (99F-101F during inspection.)

(i) Manual Warewashing Equipment, Wash Solution Temperature. The temperature of the wash solution in manual warewashing equipment shall be maintained at not less than 110°F (43°C) or the temperature specified on the cleaning agent manufacturer's label instructions. Pf
Corrective action: Discussed with PIC to have temperature adjusted, but to mind how much adjustment is done as to not affect the water temperature requirements for the hotel rooms.
17C - physical facilities installed, maintained, and clean
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(5)(n) - maintaining premises, free of unnecessary items/litter (c)
Observed steam well underneath three compartment sink. PIC mentioned they do not use the equipment anymore.
511-6-1.07(5)(n) - Maintaining Premises, free of unnecessary items/litter (C) (n) Maintaining Premises. The premises shall be free of items that are unnecessary to the operation or maintenance of the establishment, such as litter or equipment that is nonfunctional or no longer used and litter.
Corrective action: Discussed with PIC to have equipment removed.
