EHS observed pool flow meter not working properly. The correct flow meter rate is approx between 120-130 with a pool volume (44,000-50,000). EHS calculated flow meter last inspection. ASP/CPO was on site.

The flow indicator shall be capable of measuring from one-half to at least one and one-half times the design flow rate. The gauge shall be located after the filtering equipment and in such location on the return line, so as to measure the total amount of water returning to the pool according to the manufacturer’s installation specifications.

EHS observed a broken flow rate meter. CPO informed EHS that flow meter device was working before. CPO tried to replace flow meter and it still did not work. A few moments later CPO was able to replace flow meter and it was not at the correct reading. The reading was 30, however based on pool volume, the correct reading needs to be 120
