At time of inspection, observed single-service plastic forks in open bags, stored in cabinets. When not in-use, single-use items must either be sealed in their original packaging OR sealed in a container, to prevent contamination. COS: PIC closed the bags and stated that she will remind staff to do so.

Daylight showing through gaps around exterior doors/Seal to prevent pest entry

At time of inspection, observed numerous gaps in walls around: pipes, wiring, etc. in food service facility. Seal any gaps in walls, to prevent potential access points by pests into food service facility.

At time of inspection, observed a scoop in a bin of sugar with the scoop handle in contact with the food product. In food that is not under time/temperature control for safety (such as sugar), scoops that are stored within the container must be stored so that their handles do not contact the food product. COS: PIC sanitized hands and removed the scoop from the container.
