C/A: All furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement of this Chapter, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin

Observed no mattress covers on pull-out sofa beds in rooms 350, 308, 105, and 146. Only bare mattresses were observed.

C/A: Washable mattress pads or covers shall be used on all mattresses

No screens observed on the balcony door in room 350, bedroom window in room 308 and 208, and window in 2nd floor hallway.

C/A: Openings to the outside shall be effectively protected against the entrance of rodents and insects by tight-fitting doors, closed windows, screening, controlled air currents or other means. Screen doors shall be self-closing and screens for windows, doors, skylights, transoms and other openings to the outside shall be tight-fitting and free of breaks

Observed a stained mattress in rooms 111 and 308. Observed a stained pillow cover in room 111. Observed a torn mattress pad in rooms 224, 308, and 363. Observed a hole in a towel in room 128. C/A: Bed, bedding, and linens shall be clean and free from stains and holes

Observed signs of black build up around the walls/ceiling of the shower in room 224. C/A: Ventilation shall be provided in a way that prevents the accumulation of mold, mildew and odor

Observed a stained mattress in the following rooms: 119, 211, 307, 250, 338. Observed stained mattress for pull-out sofa in room 353.

Observed the sliding balcony door in room 119 with a broken latch and not flush with the door frame. Observed broken latches on the sliding balcony door in rooms 211 and 307.

C/A: Floors, walls, ceilings. windows, doors and all other appurtenances shall be of sound construction, properly maintained in good repair and shall be kept clean

Observed hot water temperatures exceeding 120F in rooms 101, 123, 158, 226, 308 and 323.

C/A: Hot water in all guest rooms shall not exceed 120F.

POC: Facility must correct hot water violation within 10 calendar days

Observed stained mattresses in rooms 123, 226, 323, 158, and 247.

C/A: Beds, mattresses, springs, slats, mattress pads, mattress and bed coverings, pillow and pillow covers shall be clean and free from vermin

Observed hot water temperatures exceeding 120F in rooms 207, 333, 143, 125, and 109.

C/A: Cold running water under pressure shall be provided to all equipment that uses water. Hot and cold running water under pressure shall be provided to all lavatories, bathing facilities, laundry facilities, and water-using equipment where eating and drinking utensils are washed. In all new tourist accommodations, and where possible in existing tourist accommodations, hot water in all guest rooms shall not exceed 120F.

Follow-up required in 10-days for hot water compliance.

Informal-12/22/23: Facility has not made adjustments to hot water temperatures; facility has arranged for technician to make adjustments today. Observed boiler room with 2- hot water heaters; heater 1 (150F) and heater 2 (133F). Informal rescheduled to 12/27/23 to ensure compliance.

COS: Informal-12/27/23: Observed primary hot water thermostat in boiler room set to 119F. Due to high occupancy, only 1 room observed- Room 112, hot water below 120F
