Routine
1 - barrier: pool enclosed/fencing in compliance
Regulation: 511-3-5-.18(11)(a) - (11) barriers. all outdoor swimming pools and spas shall be enclosed by a barrier to prevent entry to the pool area when the pool is closed. (a) the top of the barrier shall be at least forty eight inches above grade maesured on the side of the bar
The lock on the gate was removed/broken. The gate was observed open. CA A lock must be installed on the gate to prevent drowning accidents.
5 - emergency phone operational and accessible
Regulation: 511-3-5-.18(10)(c ) - (c) an operable, hard-wired, conventional telephone line or continuous powered source, weatherproof emergency phone shall be permanently installed in a conspicuous location within the pool enclosure and must be readily available to bathers at all tim
The phone was observed not operating. CA An operational phone is needed at the pool.
6 - proper disinfectant level
Regulation: .17(1)(a)(b) - proper disinfectant level
The CL tested low at 2PPM. CA The concentration of the CL must test between 3-10PPM.
22 - signs: peak occupancy/pool/spa/signs legible and in clearview
Regulation: 511-3-5-.18(12)(c) - (c) the same sign in subsection (b) above or an additional sign will state under the heading “pool risks” the following items in clearly legible letters at least one inch high:
A pool risk sign was not observed at the pool. CA A pool risk sign is needed at the pool.
