18 - insects, rodents, and animals not present
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(5)(k) - controlling pests (pf, c)
Controlling Pests. The presence of insects, rodents, and other pests shall be controlled to minimize their presence on the premises by:1. Routinely inspecting incoming shipments of food and supplies;2. Routinely inspecting the premises for evidence of pests;3. Using methods, if pests are found, such as trapping devices or other means of pest control as specified under subsections (6)(e), (6)(m), and (6)(n) of this Rule; 4. Eliminating harborage conditions. At the time of inspection multiple fruit flies were observed flying around in establishment and on walls in kitchen. Person in charge was advised to eliminate all harborage conditions and to have a pest control company service the establishment by 6/5/26 and send invoice to inspector via email. Pest control company was contacted and appointment was made by person in charge.
17A - toilet facilities: properly constructed, supplied, cleaned
Regulation: 511-6-1.06(5)(h) - toilet room receptacle, covered (c)
Toilet Room Receptacle, Covered. A toilet room used by females shall be provided with a covered receptacle for sanitary napkins. At the time of inspection, no covered receptacle was observed in unisex toilet facility. Person in charge was advised to provide a covered receptacle for sanitary napkins by 6/5/26 and send picture to inspector via email.
