13-188(h)(3) Pool deck must be unobstructed and clean observed: Pool deck has a great deal of leaf litter and debris. Pool deck has minor cracks and one area with chipped concrete. Advised to smooth chipped area upon next renovation and to regularly clear leaf litter.
13-202(i) - Each pool facility must have an emergency action plan kept on site at the pool in case of emergency. observed: CPO brought emergency action plan from leasing office, which is not at pool site. Corrected on site with CPO making copy of EAP for pool facility. Advised to laminate EAP.
13-189(a)(5) - pools should be kept free of sediment, dirt, or debris & visible scum should be removed by frequent vacuuming. observed: observed stains at bottom of pool surface.

13-202(g): An operable, hard-wired, weatherproof telephone, with direct 911 access or capability installed in a conspicuous location shall be readily available at all times within the pool enclosure observed: the phone directed to King'sIII company line & not directly to Dekalb county 911; the operator also had the incorrect address of facility --> 1555 Lavista Drive instead of 1555 Lavista Road imminent health hazard
13-189(c)(2) - Cyanuric acid shall not exceed 100 ppm observed: Cyanuric acid levels were 150 ppm - recommended to CPO to drain pool water by 1/2 to bring down cyanuric acid levels

13-201(b) - Deck showers must be operational and must have tempered water between 70-104 degrees Fahrenheit. observed: Deck showers had only cold water.
13-187(c) - The current inspection report shall be displayed in a conspicuous place and easily readable. observed: No current inspection was posted. Must be posted.
13-189(a)(5) - pools should be kept free of sediment, dirt, or debris & visible scum should be removed. observed: visible scum present on pool surfaces; must be vacuumed frequently to prevent scum buildup.

13-189(c)(1): free chlorine shall be maintained at a concentration of no less than 3ppm; Chlorine was above 14+ after testing twice.

13-202(g): An operable, hard-wired, weatherproof telephone, with direct 911 access or capability installed in a conspicuous location shall be readily available at all times within the pool enclosure (NO CELLPHONES!). Observed emergency phone (Kings III) not working properly during time of inspection. The company called the front office and said that they were able to hear us but we were not able to hear the operator. Advised to have repaired.
13-189(c)(1): The pool shall be maintained in an alkaline condition at all times with a pH level between 7.2-7.8. Observed the pH at 7.1
13-197(a): Chemical feeders shall be maintained in good repair. Observed a small leak in the chlorine line. Advised to repair.
13-202(m): Observed current pool rules not to code. Pool rules do not meet required lettering sizes. Provided a list of required pool rule statements and lettering size requirements.
13-200(a): Pool light must be maintained in good repair. Observed inner pool light not tightly bolted with a large gap (not flush with pool wall). Advised to repair.

13-189(c)(1): free chlorine shall be maintained at a concentration of no less than 3ppm; I observed 0.58, CPO switched out liquid chlorine barrels, I retested and got 2.98, then COS to 3.49

13-202(d): each pool shall have a coast guard approved lifesaving ring with a firmly attached throwing rope; I observed the throwing rope disintegrating, COS CPO got a new throwing rope
13-191(a): all valves and piping in the equipment room shall be labeled clearly and water flow direction shall be indicated on exposed piping; I observed no flow direction indicated

13-202(i): a written copy of the emergency action plan (EAP) shall be located to allow for immediate access in case of an emergency and include all required sections; I observed no EAP in the pool area; CPO said that it was in leasing office which is on the other side of the property
13-187(c); the operating permit shall be framed and displayed in a conspicuous place as close as the pool entrance so that it is easily readable by the public at all times; I observed the permit from 2022 being in the pool area and the current permit was in the leasing office which is on the other side of the property
