Observed a bag of onions stored on the floor and a bucket of pickles stored on the floor. CA: Except as specified in paragraphs 2 and 3 of this subsection, food shall be protected from contamination by storing the food: (i) In a clean, dry location; (ii) Where it is not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and (iii) At least 6 inches (15 cm) above the floor. PIC removed onions and pickles from the floor and stored them on shelves.

Observed no permit posted in public view. CA: Post the permit in a location in the food service establishment that is conspicuous to consumers. PIC will post food service permit in a location where customers can view it.

Observed no inspection report posted in the facility in public view. CA: The most current inspection report shall be prominently displayed in public view at all times, within fifteen feet of the front or primary public door and between five feet and seven feet from the floor and in an area where it can be read at a distance of one foot away. PIC will post the most current inspection report.

Observed single service containers for food stored unprotected with food contact surfaces exposed. CA: Except as specified in paragraph 4 of this subsection, cleaned equipment and utensils, laundered linens, and single-service and single-use articles shall be stored: (i) In a clean, dry location; (ii) Where they are not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and (iii) At least 6 inches (15 centimeters) above the floor. PIC will store single service items where they are protected from contamination.
