The turnover is not sufficient for the pool size. The turnover must be at least 98 gpm. The equipment for a swimming pool shall be of adequate size to turn over the entire pool water capacity. The turnover rate for pools constructed after the adoption of this chapter shall not exceed the sum of one and one-half times the average water depth in feet; where the number of hours is equal to the number feet calculated, or exceed once every six hours whichever is less. Unless the rate is otherwise specified in subsection (b) below. This system shall be designed to give the proper turnover rate based on the manufacturer's recommended maximum pressure flow of the filter in dirty media condition of the filter, immediately prior to cleaning the filter. Must be corrected prior to routine inspection.

A weir is not present in each skimmer. CPO indicates the weirs continue to float out. Each skimmer shall have a weir that adjusts automatically to variations in water level over a minimum range of four inches.

Soap is not available in the men's restroom. The toilet paper is not present on a dispenser in the restrooms. Soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue shall be provided in all dispensers.

Observed that the fencing was damaged near where the life saving equipment is hanging; observed that the gate when opened all the way did not close. Picture attached. CA: Facility shall provide and maintain a barrier to inhibit unauthorized access.

Observed that the emergency phone is non-operational; it is a call box and states that it is connecting to an operator but never connects. Corrective action: Have the phone fixed and ensure that it dials directly to 911. CA: An operable, hard-wired, conventional telephone line or continuous powered source, weatherproof emergency phone shall be permanently installed in a conspicuous location within the pool enclosure and must be readily available to bathers at all times. The emergency phone shall be capable of connecting to 911 and electronically transferring an automatic number identification and automatic locator identification of the pool emergency phone to the public safety answering point, if available. A 911 sign or the names and phone numbers of the nearest available police, fire, ambulance service or rescue unit shall be posted nearby.

Observed there are no available records onsite to verify twice daily chemical testing is performed. CA: The trained operator or responsible person shall collect water samples from the water in the pool for monitoring. The water quality testing frequency shall be completed based on the requirements of the code.

Observed that there is no available information to verify a daily safety check is being performed. CA: A safety self-inspection shall be conducted daily by the trained operator or responsible person and documented on a log sheet.

Observed that the flow is only 80 GPM which does not meet the demand of the pool; provide maintenance to equipment to ensure that turnover is met. Observed that the pool operators records were not available on site. CA: Written documentation of the operator’s visits shall be available at the pool facility.

Observed that the depth markers did not have the "ft" on its own tile. CA: The depth markers shall have both the depth in feet and "ft" in 4 inches letters on the pools edge.

Observed that the skimmer equalize lines were not protected by the float valve assembly. CA: Skimmer lines shall be properly protected.

Observed that the weirs were missing. CA: Each skimmer shall have a weir that adjusts automatically to variations in water level.

Observed that the cyanuric is greater than 100. CA: Cyanuric shall be maintained between 50 and 90 PPM.

Observed that pool risks were incorrect. CA: Pool risks shall have the required verbiage and be the correct size.

Observed that the words "no diving" was not at the pools edge. CA: For pools prior to 2018, the words "no diving" shall be present at the pools edge.

Observed that the ladder closest to the building completely comes out of the ground. CA: Handrails, if removable, shall be installed in such a way that they cannot be removed without the use of tools.

Observed that the life guard signage is incorrect/incorrect height. CA: Where no lifeguard is on duty, a sign or signs shall be placed in clear view at or near the entrance to the pool and shall state in clearly legible letters at least four inches high “WARNING - NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY and RISK OF DROWNING - SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY”.

Observed pool hours and peak occupancy were not posted. CA: Signs stating the hours of operation and a sign showing the peak occupancy shall be posted.

Observed that the piping was not marked with directional arrows; only one pipe has an arrow. CA: All piping shall be marked with directional arrows as necessary to determine flow direction. All piping in the equipment room shall be permanently identified by its use and the pool and or aquatic feature it serves.
