The emergency phone functions. However, the pool is on the interior of the pool enclosure and the splash pad is on the exterior of the gate. Additionally, the gate entrance near the pool is padlocked and the only entry is on the opposite side of the pool. Must be corrected prior to permitting next year. An operable, hard-wired, conventional telephone line or continuous powered source, weatherproof emergency phone shall be permanently installed in a conspicuous location within the pool enclosure and must be readily available to bathers at all times. The emergency phone shall be capable of connecting to 911 and electronically transferring an automatic number identification and automatic locator identification of the pool emergency phone to the public safety answering point, if available. A 911 sign or the names and phone numbers of the nearest available police, fire, ambulance service or rescue unit shall be posted nearby.

There is no sign indicating "No Lifeguard on Duty". Where no lifeguard is on duty, a sign or signs shall be placed in clear view at or near the entrance to the pool and shall state in clearly legible letters at least four inches high “WARNING - NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY and RISK OF DROWNING - SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY”.

The peak occupancy for the pool is not posted. The peak occupancy is 60. A sign shall be posted stating the hours of operation in clear view near the entrance and shall state the theoretical peak occupancy.

.17(2) The alkalinity does not meet minimum requirements. Alkalinity is required to be at 60ppm minimum and 180 ppm maximum. Speak with CPO about adjusting the alkalinity in the pool, then verify the pH is within proper range.
