Observed live roaches on furniture in room 224. Dead roaches and evidence of recent insect activity also observed in this room. Corrective Action: PIC was notified. Documentation provided for recent pest control treatment from Cooks. This room will remain closed to the public until properly cleared by a licensed exterminator. Health Dept must also be contacted to recheck room and clear of any insect activity prior to renting. Documentation is required

Observed food items offered to the public outside of Continental Breakfast guidelines. Observed bulk waffles stored open in freezer for customer use and not in pre-packaged single servings as required. Observed milk offered to guests in large carafe container instead of single service cartons as required. Corrective Action: Owner was notified. Waffles and bulk milk were removed from service. Single use, prepackaged waffles and milk will be provided unless owners decide to obtain a food service permit
