Observation: Observed comforter and sheets on bed in room 204 with multiple cigarette burn holes and in need of replacement. Corrective Action: All bed coverings must be maintained clean and in good condition. The PIC will replace the comforter/ sheets on the bed. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed daylight around exterior doors in rooms 104, 201 and 204 when the door was closed.

Corrective Action: Discussed replacing the weather stripping around the doors so that they are tight fitting. Openings to the outside shall be effectively protected against the entrance of rodents and insects by tight-fitting doors, closed windows, screening, controlled air currents or other means. The PIC will replace the weather stripping around these doors. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed peeling paint on the ceiling in the bathroom/ sink area of room 201. Corrective Action: Ceilings must be maintained in a state of good repair. The PIC will have the ceiling serviced/ painted. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed floor piece in room 201 sticking up/ not properly glued down. Corrective Action: All floors must be maintained in a state of good repair. The PIC will have the floor piece properly secured. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed trash/ debris behind the bed in room 102. Corrective Action: All floors must be maintained clean. The PIC will properly clean behind the bed. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed heavy dust/ residue accumulation on the air conditioner vent filters in rooms 102, 201, 204. Corrective Action: Vent filters must be maintained clean. The PIC will have the vent filters cleaned and increase cleaning frequency. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed multiple stains on a chair in room 205.

Corrective Action: Discussed having the chair cleaned or replaced with the PIC. The owner will have the chair cleaned or replaced

Observation: Observed missing light bulb in light fixture of room 104. Observed missing lamp shade in room 214.

Corrective Action: Discussed having light bulb and lamp shade replaced with the PIC. All furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement of this Chapter, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin. The PIC will replace the missing fixtures. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed AC filters with heavy dust/ residue accumulation in rooms 205 and 215.

Corrective Action: Discussed cleaning frequency of AC vent filters with the PIC. The PIC will have the AC filters cleaned and increase cleaning frequency. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed debris accumulation on the interior of the microwave oven in room 104. Observed debris accumulation in the interior of the refrigerator in room 215.

Corrective Action: Discussed cleaning frequency of appliances with the PIC. The PIC will have these appliances cleaned. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed trash/ debris inside drawers in rooms 204 and 205.

Corrective Action: Discussed cleaning frequency of furnishings with the PIC. The PIC will have the drawers cleaned. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed multiple broken AC units stored next to the building at the back of the property.

Corrective Action: Discussed having broken AC units removed from the property and properly disposed of with the PIC. Grounds, including spaces beneath buildings and trailers, shall be kept clean and free of litter. The PIC will have the debris removed. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Floors, walls, ceilings. windows, doors and all other appurtenances shall be of sound construction, properly maintained in good repair and shall be kept clean. The PIC will have these doors repaired/ replaced. These rooms must not be rented to the public until these doors are repaired/ replaced and rechecked by the Health Department. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed writing on the wall in room 204 from a previous guest.

Corrective Action: Discussed having the wall cleaned/ repainted with the PIC. Floors, walls, ceilings. windows, doors and all other appurtenances shall be of sound construction, properly maintained in good repair and shall be kept clean. The PIC will have the wall repainted/ cleaned. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed trash/ debris on the floor in rooms 204 and 205.

Corrective Action: Discussed cleaning methods and frequency with the PIC. Floors, walls, ceilings. windows, doors and all other appurtenances shall be of sound construction, properly maintained in good repair and shall be kept clean. The PIC will have the floors cleaned. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed ceiling in the bathroom/ sink area of room 205 in poor repair and in need of service.

Corrective Action: Discussed having the ceiling repaired with the PIC. The PIC will have the ceiling repaired. This will be rechecked by the Health Department

Observation: Observed bath tub without an anti-slip surface in room 104.

Corrective Action: Discussed installing an anti-slip surface in the bath tub with the PIC. Anti-slip tubs slip strips, appliqués, or slip-proof mats shall be provided in each bathing facility and shall be kept clean and in good repair. The PIC will install an anti-slip surface in the tub. This will be rechecked by the Health Department
