Observed stained mattresses and pillows in every room inspected. CA. - PIC will change out or discard the mattress and pillows

Observed the permit is expired for the facility. CA - PIC will pay the fees for their permit. Legal Notice issued

Observed a pink mold like substance on the baffle of the ice machines in the lobby. PIC had the machine cleaned and sanitized

Observed stained drapes in rooms 212 & 235.

All furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement of this Chapter, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin.

PIC will ensure that these drapes are cleaned

Observed stained mattresses in every room inspected.

Washable mattress pads or covers shall be used on all mattresses. Beds, mattresses, springs, slats, mattress pads, mattress and bed coverings, pillow and pillow covers shall be clean and free from vermin. Each bed shall be provided, as a minimum, with two sheets and one pillow and pillowcase. After each occupancy and upon the request of the occupant, sheets and pillowcases shall be changed with fresh laundered linens. During occupancy, linens shall be changed at a minimum frequency of not less than weekly.

PIC will take these mattresses out of circulation and either have them cleaned or replaced

Observed that the permit has expired. EHS also observed that the facility has not paid the fee for their permit. Any person operating a tourist accommodation shall obtain and display a valid DPH tourist accommodation permit issued by the Health Authority. (b) To qualify for a permit, an applicant shall:

1. Be an owner of the tourist accommodation;
2. Allow access to the tourist accommodation;
3. Provide all information as required on the application and pay all applicable local and state fees referenced in DPH Rule 511-6-2-.22 at the time the application is submitted and;
4. Score 100% on the permitting inspection for newly constructed facilities. PIC will pay the fees for their permit
