Observed several rooms with the walls in disrepair. (CA) Advised the PIC to repair the walls. Floors, walls, ceilings. windows, doors and all other appurtenances shall be of sound construction, properly maintained in good repair and shall be kept clean. In all new constructed and extensively remodeled residential kitchens used in bed and breakfast inns, coved base molding may be required. Walls and ceilings in residential kitchens shall be easily cleanable and light colored

Observed several 2nd layer draperies with yellowing stains on its surface. CA: Advised PIC All furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement of this Chapter, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin

Observed establishment fail to display current TA Permit for public view. CA: Advised PIC Any person operating a tourist accommodation shall obtain and display a valid DPH tourist accommodation permit issued by the Health Authority

Observed establishment fail to post current inspection report for public view. CA: Advised PIC The most recent tourist accommodation inspection report form shall be prominently displayed in public view at all times, between five feet and seven feet from the floor and in a public area such as the registration desk, where it can be read at a distance of one foot away

Observed a number of rooms within establishment without an anti-slip surface installed inside of tub unit. CA: Advised PIC Anti-slip tubs slip strips, appliqués, or slip-proof mats shall be provided in each bathing facility and shall be kept clean and in good repair
