Observed the air filters in the air conditioning units unclean with dust buildup. CA- all furnishings shall be maintained clean. 511-6-2-.14(5) - Condition of Furnishings All furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement of this Chapter, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin

Observed stained mattress pads in rooms 425, 223, and 120. Observed stained pillows/cases in rooms 327, 223 and 120. Ca- all bedding shall be in good repair and free of stains. 511-6-2-.14(6) - Bed, Bedding, and Linens Washable mattress pads or covers shall be used on all mattresses. Beds, mattresses, springs, slats, mattress pads, mattress and bed coverings, pillow and pillow covers shall be clean and free from vermin. Each bed shall be provided, as a minimum, with two sheets and one pillow and pillowcase. After each occupancy and upon the request of the occupant, sheets and pillowcases shall be changed with fresh laundered linens. During occupancy, linens shall be changed at a minimum frequency of not less than weekly

Observed the facility not able to show the gas fired inspection for 2025 for the gas dryers. CA- the gas fired inspections shall be done annually and kept on file. 511-6-2-.15(5) - Heating and Fire Safety-Inspection All gas-fired equipment shall be inspected at least annually by a qualified licensed contractor or local fire authority, if available. Points to be inspected are proper construction and installation, malfunctions and adjustments of controls and burners, faulty heat exchangers and vent obstructions. Any defects found on inspection must be corrected by a qualified heating contractor prior to use of the equipment. Upon request, the operator shall provide evidence of inspection and/or correction of any deficiency

Observed pink buildup in the ice machine. CA- ice machine shall be cleaned today and cleaned regularly to prevent buildup. 511-6-2-.07(8) - Ice Supply If self-service ice is provided, then it shall be from an approved water supply. In all new tourist accommodations, and in existing tourist accommodations when machines are replaced, only automatic dispensing ice machines will be allowed. In existing tourist accommodations permitted prior to the adoption of this rule, the use of existing self-service ice-storage bins may be continued, provided that the machines are maintained in good repair and capable of being properly cleaned and sanitized according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Further, a copy of the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions shall be maintained onsite for review at the request of the Health Authority. Scoops, ice buckets, and other ice handling equipment, shall be of easily cleanable material and construction. They shall be stored in a clean place and shall be kept clean. Glassware shall not be used to scoop ice

Observed failure to post current inspection report Inspection Posting CA: Any tourist accommodation inspection report addendum(s), completed by the Health Authority to document observations, violations, and corrective actions resulting from an inspection need not be displayed, but must be made available by the tourist accommodation operator to the public upon request
