Observed unlabeled chemical bottle stored at hand washing sink. Corrected on site - PIC labeled chemical with common name. Working Containers, Common Name. Working containers used for storing poisonous or toxic materials such as cleaners and sanitizers taken from bulk supplies shall be clearly and individually identified with the common name of the material.

Observed unlabeled shakers and squeeze bottles of spices and sauces without labels stored near cooking and prep areas. Corrective action - PIC advised to label containers with common name of food. Food Storage Containers, Identified with Common Name of Food. Except for containers holding food that can be readily and unmistakably recognized, such as dry pasta, working containers holding food or food ingredients that are removed from their original packages for use in the food establishment, such as cooking oils, flour, herbs, potato flakes, salt, spices, and sugar shall be clearly and legibly identified, in English, with the common name of the food.
