Observed hood light bulbs are out and need replacing. 511-6-1.07(2)(i) - Light Bulbs, Protective Shielding (C) (i) Light Bulbs, Protective Shielding.

1. Except as specified in paragraph 2 of this subsection, light bulbs shall be shielded, coated, or otherwise shatter-resistant in areas where there is exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; or unwrapped single-service and single-use articles. PIC will replace immediately.

Observed mold-like substance inside the ice machine. Observed sticky residue on the outside of the dispensing nozzle. COS: Employee cleaned inside the ice machine. Equipment is used for storage of packaged or unpackaged food, such as a reach-in refrigerator, and the equipment is cleaned at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues; At a frequency specified by the manufacturer; or

(II) Absent manufacturer specifications, at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil or mold.

Observed a boxes of single use items (utensils) on the ground located in the dry storage room. CA: Advised PIC to move boxes at least 6 inches off the ground. 511-6-1.05(10)(e)1&3 - Single-Service/Single-Use items stored 6" off floor in clean, dry location (C) (e) Equipment, Utensils, Linens, and Single-Service and Single-Use Articles.

1. Except as specified in paragraph 4 of this subsection, cleaned equipment and utensils, laundered linens, and single-service and single-use articles shall be stored:

(i) In a clean, dry location;

(ii) Where they are not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination; and

(iii) At least 6 inches (15 centimeters) above the floor. 3. Single-service and single-use articles shall be stored as specified under paragraph 1 of this subsection and shall be kept in the original protective package or stored by using other means that afford protection from contamination until used.
