Observed employee items stored in the handwashing sink located near the three-compartment sink in the back of the main kitchen. COS: PIC removed the items and will ensure handwashing sinks remain accessible and used only for handwashing.

10D - food properly labeled; original container
Regulation: 511-6-1.04(4)(d) - food storage containers identified with common name of food (c)
Observed oil, vinegar, soy sauce, and other food items stored in containers without proper labeling. COS: PIC labeled the items and will ensure all food items not in their original containers are properly identified with their common names.
d) Food Storage Containers, Identified with Common Name of Food. Except for containers holding food that can be readily and unmistakably recognized, such as dry pasta, working containers holding food or food ingredients that are removed from their original packages for use in the food establishment, such as cooking oils, flour, herbs, potato flakes, salt, spices, and sugar shall be clearly and legibly identified, in English, with the common name of the food.
