Observed handsink being blocked by a trashcan in front service area; and handsink in the kitchen and next to ice machine was blocked with newly installed ice scoop holder. 511-6-1.06(2)(o) - Using a Handwashing Sink- Operation & maintenance (Pf)(o) Using a Handwashing Sink. Handwashing sink shall be maintained so that it is accessible at all times for employee use. PIC advised to relocate the holder.
4-2B - food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized
Regulation: 511-6-1.05(7)(a)1 - equipment, food-contact surfaces,& utensils (pf)
Observed won out and mildew like/biological growth build up on cutting board. Equipment food-contact surfaces and utensils shall be clean to sight and touch. Informed PIC to replace worn-out boards and keep prep tops clean and free from observed mildew/biological growth build up.
10D - food properly labeled; original container

Observed working containers of food removed from original container not identified by common name. Several squeeze bottles observed in use without a label to identify contents. Observed also mislabeling of vegetable and meat sink with sanitizer and wash signs. 511-6-1.04(4)(d) - Food Storage Containers Identified with Common Name of Food (C) (d) Food Storage Containers, Identified with Common Name of Food. Except for containers holding food that can be readily and unmistakably recognized, such as dry pasta, working containers holding food or food ingredients that are removed from their original packages for use in the food establishment, such as cooking oils, flour, herbs, potato flakes, salt, spices, and sugar shall be clearly and legibly identified, in English, with the common name of the food. Advised PIC if a food item is removed from its original container label it to identify the contents. Advised also to replace wrong labels with the correct ones

Observed meat/vegetable sink faucet in the back of the kitchen is dripping non stop. Observed also the hot water knob on hand sink not working when turned on. 511-6-1.06(2)(r) - System Maintained in Good Repair (P, C) (r) System Maintained in Good Repair. A plumbing system shall be repaired according to law; P and maintained in good repair. PIC will place a work order to be repaired.
15C - nonfood-contact surfaces clean

Observed dust and grease on nonfood contact surfaces - exterior of vents, shelving, equipment doors, flooring, etc. The food-contact surfaces of cooking equipment and pans shall be kept free of encrusted grease deposits and other soil accumulations. Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris. PIC advised to keep utensils and kitchen clean to sight and touch.
