2-2E: .03(6)Per manager, employees are to call a third party company clean up vomit and diarrheal events. Manager does not have procedures that the third party company will follow and does not know what chemical the third party company will use for clean up. Managers must reach out to the third party company and have them provide their clean up procedures and the chemical they will use to sanitize the area. The chemical must be on the EPA list G for sanitizers that are effective against Norovirus. A food establishment shall have written procedures for employees to follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events that involve the discharge of vomitus or fecal matter onto surfaces in the food service establishment. The procedures shall address the specific actions employees must take to minimize the spread of contamination and the exposure of employees, consumers, food, and surfaces to vomitus or fecal matter. 8-2B: .07(6)(c)At time of inspection, observed an open bottle of oven cleaner stored on the back counter with food equipment. Observed 2 bottles of coffee equipment cleaning tablets stored with clean dishes. Poisonous or toxic materials shall be stored so they cannot contaminate food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service and single-use articles by:
- Separating the poisonous or toxic materials by spacing or partitioning; (P) and
- Locating the poisonous or toxic materials in an area that is not above food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service or single-use articles. (P)
