Observed encrusted food debris on the can opener blade and both pre-rinse sprayer nozzles. Equipment, Food-Contact Surfaces, and Utensils.

  1. Equipment food-contact surfaces and utensils shall be clean to sight and touch. PIC placed the can opener in the dish pit to be cleaned and cleaned both sprayers during the inspection.

Except for a plain ring such as a wedding band food employees may not wear jewelry including medical information jewelry on their arms and hands while preparing food. COS: Employees voluntarily removed bracelets/watches during inspection.

NOTE: EHS suggested that servers remove bracelets and watches, as well, being that they prepare individual sauce cups, which is a food prep step.
