Observed interior surface of ice machine with mold-like substances. PIC was advised to have ice machine cleaned one a weekly basis to prevent build up.

18 - insects, rodents, and animals not present
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(5)(k) - controlling pests (pf, c)
Observed several gnats/fruit flies in the main kitchen and back storage area around the 3 compartment sink. Please have a professional pest control service treat for gnats/fruit flies once a week for 30 days and send the invoices to keundra.golden@dph.ga.gov. gnats/fruit flies in the front kitchen area and back storage area.

Observed front door of the establishment propped opened. PIC was advised to keep the doors closed to prevent pest entry and possible environmental contaminants from entering the establishment. PIC closed the door.
16A - hot and cold water available; adequate pressure
Regulation: 511-6-1.06(1)(g),(h) - water supply, capacity; pressure (pf)
Observed cold water not provided/shut off at employee handwash sink. PIC and manager explained that the cold water at the hand sink will continuously runs, therefore it is shut off until repairs are made. Please send a repair invoice to keundra.golden@dph.ga.gov once repairs for the hand sink cold water valve are completed.
17D - adequate ventilation and lighting; designated areas used
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(5)(j) - using dressing rooms & lockers, used for changing clothes and storing employee belongings (c)
Observed employee purse stored on the dry storage shelf in between food items, lotions stored above the prep sink, and personal empty cups around the prep table. PIC was advised to keep all personal belongings in a designated area to prevent possible contamination of food and food contact surfaces. PIC removed personal items and placed them in the office.
