Observed an employee's opened Powerade drink bottle stored among single-use items in the prep station of the kitchen. Employees shall consume food only in approved designated areas separate from food preparation and serving areas, equipment or utensil areas, and food storage areas. However, drinking from a single-service beverage cup with a secure lid and straw that is handled to prevent contamination of the employee’s hands, the container, exposed food, clean equipment, utensils and linens, unwrapped single-service and single-use articles will be allowed. Employees must drink out of a single-service/single-use cup with a secure lid and straw. Corrected on Site (COS): The Employee's drink was relocated from its original location and stored in the office.

Observed pink organic matter along the top interior of the ice machine in the main kitchen. Equipment food-contact surfaces and utensils shall be cleaned: In equipment such as ice bins and beverage dispensing nozzles and enclosed components of equipment such as ice makers shall be cleaned At a frequency specified by the manufacturer or absent manufacturer specifications, at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil or mold. Discard existing ice to wash, rinse and sanitize interior of the unit.

Observed two cell phones being stored on a food prep table. Employee items shall be stored in designated areas away from food, food prep areas, linens, equipment, and utensils. Keep all personal items out of the kitchen/food prep areas. Phones were moved to the office.

Observed stacks of cheddar cheese (69F) on the counter being held on time as public health control without any indication of the start or discard time. If time without temperature control is used as the public health control up to a maximum of 4 hours: The food shall be marked or otherwise identified to indicate the time that is 4 hours past the point in time when the food is removed from temperature control. Person in charge discarded the cheese.

Observed employees with facial hair greater than one half inch in length handling foods without proper hair restraint. Employees preparing or handling food shall use effective and clean, disposable or easily cleanable nets or other hair restraints approved by the Health Authority, worn properly to restrain loose hair including beards and mustaches longer than one half inch. Obtain proper beard restraint.
