Routine
3 - compliant drain covers secure, present and no cracks
Pressure/vacuum gauge on vacuum release unit is not functioning properly. All single main drain pools must have a vacuum release unit. Ensure the unit and pressure/vacuum gauge are functioning as should.
5 - emergency phone operational and accessible
Observed the emergency phone not functioning. Repair/replace the phone or any lines so that the phone is functional. Also noticed the door of the phone box wired shut. Do not wire tie the phone box door shut. The phone must have easy access.
6 - proper disinfectant level
Observed free chlorine low at .5ppm. The allowable range for pH is 1ppm-10ppm when no cyanuric acid is present. Increase the free chlorine level to within the allowable range.
7 - ph between 7.2 and 7.8
Observed pH high at over 8. The allowable range for pH is 7.2-7.8. Decrease pH to within allowable range.
8 - chemical feeder operational and approved
Observed low salt warning light on the salt/chlorine cell. Service the unit to ensure it is functioning as should and check the salt level to ensure they are at the correct range.
