Observed multiple bottles of bleach and detergent stored on a shelf in the dry storage area above containers of barbeque sauce. Poisonous or toxic materials shall be stored so they cannot contaminate food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service and single-use articles by locating the poisonous or toxic materials in an area that is not above food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service or single-use articles. COS: PIC rearranged shelves so that nothing was stored below the bleach and detergents.

Observed PIC could not demonstrate that customers were informed in a written manner of the presence of major food allergens. The permit holder shall notify consumers by written notification of the presence of major food allergens as an ingredient in unpackaged food items that are served or sold to the consumer. PIC needs to post written notification for customers.

Observed raw pork chops and fish sitting in the sink thawing. When thawing food items they should be kept under cold running water, thawed in the refrigerator, or thawed using one of the other approved methods listed under rule 511-6-1.04(6)(c).
