Observed most current inspection report not posted in public view. The most recent tourist accommodation inspection report form shall be prominently displayed in public view at all times, between five feet and seven feet from the floor and in a public area such as the registration desk, where it can be read at a distance of one foot away. COS: Person in charge was given new inspection report

Observed reading lights no working in rooms 210 and 302. All rooms shall be well lighted. When natural light fails to provide sufficient illumination, evenly distributed artificial light shall be provided to maintain a lighting intensity of not less than ten foot candles at 30" above the floor. COS: Maintenance replaced light bulbs in each room

Observed gas-fired equipment inspection report dated August 28, 2023. Observed this inspection report as the current report for all of the gas-fired equipment within the tourist accommodation. All gas-fired equipment shall be inspected at least annually by a qualified licensed contractor or local fire authority, if available. Points to be inspected are proper construction and installation, malfunctions and adjustments of controls and burners, faulty heat exchangers and vent obstructions. Any defects found on inspection must be corrected by a qualified heating contractor prior to use of the equipment. Upon request, the operator shall provide evidence of inspection and/or correction of any deficiency. Must correct within 24 hours

Observed hair on the bedding in room 208. Washable mattress pads or covers shall be used on all mattresses. Beds, mattresses, springs, slats, mattress pads, mattress and bed coverings, pillow and pillow covers shall be clean and free from vermin. Must correct within 30 days

Observed black stains at the bottom of the showers in the majority of the rooms inspected. Observed brownish and red residue buildup between the shower doors in rooms 426 and 208. Also observed hair and rust on the shower door at the bottom in room 310. Also observed the tub and shower in room 413 in need of resurfacing. Toilet rooms and fixtures must be smooth and nonabsorbent and shall be kept clean and in good repair. Walls, floors, and ceilings shall be constructed of easily cleanable nonabsorbent materials and shall be kept clean and in good repair. Must correct within 30 days

Observed the mattress protector stained in room 628. Observed hair on the bedding in rooms 602 and 527. Also observed bedding stained in rooms 205 and 206. Observed black stains at the bottom of the showers in majority of the rooms inspected. Also observed red and brown caulking around the shower enclosures in rooms 529, 528, 401, and 206. Observed pink residue between the shower doors in rooms 205 and 529. Observed hair buildup between the shower doors in room 529. Observed black stain in the sink in room 528. Observed shower tile/enclosure cracked or chipped in room 528. Also observed pink residue between the tiles in the shower in room 206. Observed the floors in rooms 401, 528, and 529 with debris on it. Floors, walls, ceilings. windows, doors and all other appurtenances shall be of sound construction, properly maintained in good repair and shall be kept clean. Must be correct within 30 days

Observed rooms 624, 315, and 319 with sink hot water temperature reaching 127F. Observed rooms 601, 512 with sink hot water temperature reaching 126F. Observed rooms 226, 221, 208, and 205 with sink hot water temperature reaching 124F. In all new tourist accommodations, and where possible in existing tourist accommodations, hot water in all guest rooms shall not exceed 120F
