Observed free chlorine level of 2.6. Rule: (a) During operation, disinfectant levels are less than the minimum level specified in DPH Rule 511-3-5-.17. If the level of the disinfectant used is not specified in DPH Rule 511-3-5-.17, the disinfectant must be approved and kept at levels determined necessary by the health authority. The rule states that the minimum free chlorine level is 3 for spas. Corrective Action: Adjust to required level of 3-10 for spas.

Observed calcium hardness of 110. Rule: Calcium hardness shall be (150-1000). Corrective Action: Adjust to level as noted in the rule.

Observed total alkalinity of 190ppm. Rule: Total Alkalinity shall be (60ppm-180ppm). Corrective Action: Adjust to level as noted in the rule.

Observed combined chlorine level of 0.8 ppm. Rule: Combined chlorine level shall be 0.4 ppm or less. Corrective Action: Decrease level to 0.4ppm or less.

Observed calcium hardness of 120ppm. Rule: Calcium hardness shall be 150-1000ppm Corrective Action: Adjust to level as noted in the rule.

Observed 911 phone which does not work. Rule: (c) An operable, hard-wired, conventional telephone line or continuous powered source, weatherproof emergency phone shall be permanently installed in a conspicuous location within the pool enclosure and must be readily available to bathers at all times. The emergency phone shall be capable of connecting to 911 and electronically transferring an automatic number identification and automatic locator identification of the pool emergency phone to the public safety answering point, if available. A 911 sign or the names and phone numbers of the nearest available police, fire, ambulance service or rescue unit shall be posted nearby. Corrective Action: Repair phone.

Observed pH less than 7.2. Rule: (b) During operation, the pH is less than the minimum or more than the maximum levels allowed in DPH Rule 511-3-5-.l7 Corrective Action: Adjust chemicals to achieve a pH between or equal to 7.2-7.8.

Observed combined chlorine level of 3.0ppm. Rule: Combined chlorine level shall be 0.4 ppm or less. Corrective Action: Decrease level to 0.4ppm or less.
