Double Churches Pool (Family Pool)

Observed no throwing rope attached to ring buoy. A minimum one-fourth inch diameter throwing rope one and one-half times the maximum width of the pool or fifty feet in length, whichever is less, to which has been firmly attached a ring buoy with an outside diameter of approximately fifteen inches or a similar flotation device which is U.S. Coast Guard approved. Item must be corrected upon re-inspection.

Observed flow meter not functioning properly. A flow meter measuring the rate of flow through the filter system with an appropriate range readable in gallons per minute (GPM) and accurate within ten percent actual flow shall be provided. The flow indicator shall be capable of measuring from one-half to at least one and one-half times the design flow rate. The gauge shall be located after the filtering equipment and in such location on the return line, so as to measure the total amount of water returning to the pool according to the manufacturer’s installation specifications.

Observed calcium hardness reading too low, 150 ppm. Calcium hardness shall be 150 ppm - 1000 ppm. Person in charge stated she would raise the calcium hardness rate to the proper range.

Observed total alkalinity reading too low, 40 ppm. Total alkalinity shall be 60 ppm - 180 ppm. Person in charge stated she would raise the total alkalinity.
