The food items stored inside the prep cooler were raw chicken, shredded cheese, and precooked bacon that had just been placed inside the prep cooler from the walk in cooler minutes before according to Person in Charge (PIC). The PIC will not use this equipment until it has been repaired and if the PIC does use the equipment, it will be for non TCS items only.

Second Consecutive Repeat of this Code Provision Equipment shall be maintained in a state of repair and condition that meets the requirements specified under subsections (1) and (2)of this Rule. (C) Corrective Actions: The PIC will not use this equipment until it has been repaired and if the PIC does use the equipment, it will be for non TCS items only. The chicken and slices of cheese read a temperature of 45 and 46 degrees but was allowed to cool back down.
