Rice in BOH near WIC stored in bulk container without common food name label. PIC advised to label container with common food name. Sugar in drink station area in large bulk container with no common food name label also.
11A - proper cooling methods used: adequate equipment for temperature control
Regulation: 511-6-1.04(6)(e) - cooling methods (pf, c)
Multiple items in WIC prepped today (02/18/26) observed cooling, but not vented to allow proper cooling. PIC immediately vented prepped items such as macaroni noodles, spaghetti meat sauce, sliced vegetables, etc. to allow them to cool properly within the allotted time frame. All cooling foods temped at 43F and were prepared late morning approxmately 10-11:00 am. Temp checked at approx. 1:30pm.
