Employee drinks sitting on prep tables. Employee drinking out of cans and water bottles. Advised PIC to relocate employee drinks to a designated area and they shall be put in a single service cup with a secure lid and straw so that it is handled to prevent contamination of employees hands, the container, exposed food, clean equipment, utensils and linens and single service articles. cos- reloacted and threw in trash
12B - personal cleanliness
Regulation: 511-6-1.03(5)(j) - hair restraints (c)
Employees preparing/handling food wearing no hair restraint on head or on long beard over 1/2 inch long. Advised PIC to put on hair restraints. Employees preparing/handling food shall use effective and clean, disposable or easily cleanable net or other restraint approved by health authority. cos - put on hat and beard net
17D - adequate ventilation and lighting; designated areas used
Vents in WIC with large amount of dust accumulation. Advised PIC to clean. Intake and exhaust air vents shall be cleaned so that they are not a source of contamination by dust, dirt or other materials.
