Regulation: 511-6-2-.19(3)(a) - bed and breakfast-limted food service
Observed establishment offering spa lunch packages. This establishment is permitted as a Bed and Breakfast Inn and is not allowed to serve lunch packages. Per regulation, Bed and Breakfast Inn is "an establishment of twenty guestrooms or less, which serves food only to its registered tourists, and serves only a breakfast or similar early morning meal and an appropriate light snack in which the price of the food is included in the price of the overnight accommodation". Serving food other than what is previously mentioned is in violation of the issued Tourist Accommodation permit. Continued operation of unpermitted food service operations may jeopardize the issued Tourist Accommodation Permit. Operating a food service establishment without a proper food service permit may incur a $500.00 fee in addition to any other applicable permit fees
