The internal temperature could not be verified because the digital display is not functioning when the buttons are pressed on the key pad. The inspector placed her probe thermometer at the bottom of the vending machine, where the items are dispensed, and allowed it to sit for five minutes, recording an ambient temperature of 43 F. The inspector will contact the operator to discuss the issue, as this is the internal temperature reader used to verify the temperature in the vending machine.
