27 - all furniture, waste receptacles, draperies, carpets; clean, and in good repair, considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation
Regulation: 511-6-2-.14(5) - condition of furnishings
Observed lamp that does not work and food debris and dirt in the dresser drawer in room 103, dirty microwave in room 104, baseboards in need of cleaning in room 201 and food splatters in microwave in room. CA: All furnishings in fixtures must be maintained clean and in good repair. Corrections will be made prior to renting rooms to new guests
28 - beds, mattresses, mattress pads, springs, frames, pillows, and bed coverings clean; vermin free and in good condition; bed linen properly supplied, changed and laundered

Observed mattress protector with stains and holes and dirt/debris on the bedding in room 103, bed sheets with holes and lady bugs in room 104, hair on sheets in room 105, stain on pillow cases in room 201 and stained mattress in room 205. CA: All bedding will be treated/cleaned/replaced before rooms are rented to new guests
16 - toilet/lavatory/bathing facility fixtures and rooms clean and maintained; properly lighted, clearly marked, proper signage, and all in good repair
Regulation: 511-6-2-.08(4) - toilet facilities-cleaning and maintenance
Observed the hot water turned off at the bathroom sink, stains on bathroom towels, leaky bathtub faucet with tub finish peeling, sink and toilet in need of cleaning in room 105. Toilet paper roll holder fixed to the wall is broken and sink faucet is leaking in room 201. Bathtub has used bar of soap and toilet in need of cleaning in room 205. CA: Rooms must be updated and cleaned before they are rented out to new guests
18 - toilet tissue and soap provided; soap individually wrapped or properly dispensed

Observed used toiletry items in room 205. CA: Items will be discarded and replaced with individually wrapped toiletry items
24 - openings to outside and physical facilities protected by tight-fitting doors, screening, or other means
Regulation: 511-6-2-.13(3) - insect and rodent control-openings
Weather stripping around exterior door is peeling off in room 105. CA: The PIC will repair/replace weather stripping
26 - ventilation provided and lighting adequate; guestroom kitchenettes/cooking facilities approved
Regulation: 511-6-2-.14(3) - room ventilation
Observed AC vent with brown tar-like build up in room 205. CA: Vent will be cleaned prior to renting to new guests
