511-6-2-.14(5) - Condition of Furnishings All furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement of this Chapter, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin.
Corrective action: Discussed and showed PIC areas to be cleaned and fix
16 - toilet/lavatory/bathing facility fixtures and rooms clean and maintained; properly lighted, clearly marked, proper signage, and all in good repair
Regulation: 511-6-2-.08(4) - toilet facilities-cleaning and maintenance
Observed:
121: Shower head stand broken. 322: Bathtub has small fractures
511-6-2-.08(4) - Toilet Facilities-Cleaning and Maintenance Toilet rooms and fixtures must be smooth and nonabsorbent and shall be kept clean and in good repair. Walls, floors, and ceilings shall be constructed of easily cleanable nonabsorbent materials and shall be kept clean and in good repair. While being used by tourists, every surface of a bathtub, shower, shower enclosure, toilet and lavatory, which may come in contact with a person’s body, must be sanitized each day, unless the guest has declined regular tourist room services. If a tourist declines regular tourist room services, the tourist accommodation facility must ensure that these surfaces are cleaned and sanitized at least once per week and between tourists.
Corrective action: Discussed and showed PIC areas, items need to be be fixed. Shower Head Stand has been noted and maintenance is aware
25 - floors, walls, ceilings, windows, doors clean, and in good repair; appropriate for location and operation
Regulation: 511-6-2-.14(1) - floors, walls, and ceilings
Observed:
214: Red stain on floor located on the left side first bed 217: Floor stains in bedroom and bathroom; PIC mentioned they are from hair dye from a previous client
511-6-2-.14(1) - Floors, Walls, and Ceilings Floors, walls, ceilings. windows, doors and all other appurtenances shall be of sound construction, properly maintained in good repair and shall be kept clean. In all new constructed and extensively remodeled residential kitchens used in bed and breakfast inns, coved base molding may be required. Walls and ceilings in residential kitchens shall be easily cleanable and light colored.
Corrective action: Discussed and showed PIC areas, PIC mentioned that some rooms flooring have yet to be replaced as they wait for the material. Must be either cleaned or flooring replaced
