Observed entrance gate would not self-latch as it kept getting stuck due to alignment issue. h) Access gates shall also comply with the requirements of this Rule and shall be equipped to accommodate a locking device. Barrier gates shall open away from the pool in facilities constructed after adoption of this chapter. Pedestrian access gates shall be self-closing and have a self-latching device. Gates other than pedestrian access gates shall have a self-latching device. Where the release mechanism of the self latching device is located less than fifty-four inches from the bottom of the gate, 1. The release mechanism shall be located on the pool side of the gate at least three inches below the top of the gate and 2. Any openings in the gate or barrier located within eighteen inches of the release mechanism shall be less than one-half inch. 3. Mechanisms controlled by an access card reader, key entry device or keypad shall be located on the outside of the access gate. EHS informed the PIC of the need to ensure the gate self-closes/latches.

Observed missing/dislodged skimmer weirs(unable to tell due to orientation and not visible from inside the basket), the need to clean the skimmer baskets and to ensure the skimmer lines are producing suction. EHS informed the PIC of the need to install/fix the weirs and maintain the skimmers.
Observed low alkalinity and calcium hardness levels. EHS informed the PIC of the need to balance the water chemistry.

EHS observed cyanuric acid reading at 9. For pools that use stabilizers the min is between 30-50. Informed PIC to have pool chemicals adjusted. This must be corrected by 07/19/24

Regulation: 511-3-5-.23(5)(d) - (d) the water turbidity is such that the suction outlet/main drain cover or a standard white marker tile on the bottom of the deepest portion of the pool cannot be seen.
When EHS entered pool, EHS was not able to see drains at bottom of pool near the deep end (8 feet)

PIC informed EHS that pool will be closed rest of the week due to pool conditions and is working to have water clarity repaired. This must be corrected by 07/2/24
EHS observed chlorine (combined chlorine, total chlorine and free chlorine), levels below min. requirements of 2.0 (a) During operation, disinfectant levels are less than the minimum level specified in DPH Rule 511-3-5-.17. If the level of the disinfectant used is not specified in DPH Rule 511-3-5-.17, the disinfectant must be approved and kept at levels determined necessary by the health authority.
EHS informed PIC to have chemicals adjusted. Pool is closed all week per PIC. This must be corrected by 07/02/24
