8-2B - toxic substances properly identified, stored, used
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(6)(b) - working containers, common name (pf)
EHS observed bottle unlabeled pink liquid stored by register make table.
Working containers used for storing poisonous or toxic materials such as cleaners and sanitizers taken from bulk supplies shall be clearly and individually identified with the common name of the material.
PIC labeled bottle. Per PIC, fluid is degreaser.
14B - utensils, equipment and linens: properly stored, dried, handled
Regulation: 511-6-1.05(10)(e)1,2,4 - equipment, utensil, linens, stored 6" off floor in clean, dry location (c)
EHS observed can-openers for facility use stored on tray with various tools, screwdrivers, mechanical components; rusty knife used for non-food related activities stored with clean knives.
Equipment and utensils shall be stored in a clean, dry location and where they are not exposed to contamination.
PIC removed openers from tray, remanded to 3C for washing, knife moved from clean rack.
15C - nonfood-contact surfaces clean
EHS observed:
-racks on line with buildup of dust, debris
Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris.
PIC to have racks cleaned or replaced.
17D - adequate ventilation and lighting; designated areas used
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(5)(j) - using dressing rooms & lockers, used for changing clothes and storing employee belongings (c)
EHS observed employee food (red bull, tray of fish) stored in front RIC with facility foods.
Designated storage for employee food is to be designated and used.
PIC to keep employee items to lowest portion of RIC, separate from facility foods/equipment.
