Regulation: 511-6-1.06(2)(c) - handwashing sinks, installation (pf, c)
EHS observed hand sink in main kitchen area next to 3 compartment sink not reaching 85F. PIC stated part is ordered to repair water heater. Violation: A handwashing sink shall be equipped to provide tempered water at a temperature of at least 85ºF (29.4 ºC) through a mixing valve or combination faucet. CA: Heat water to 85F to wash hands with until part comes in.
16A - hot and cold water available; adequate pressure

EHS observed hot water not available at handwashing sinks or 3C sink hot water was coming out at 60-61F. PIC stated part to repair has been ordered. Violation: Hot water generation and distribution systems shall be sufficient to meet the peak hot water demands throughout the food service establishment. Pf (h) Pressure. Water under pressure shall be provided to all fixtures, equipment, and nonfood equipment that are required to use water except that water supplied as specified under subsection (1)(k)1 and 2 to a temporary food service operation or in response to a temporary interruption of a water supply need not be under pressure. CA: Heat water as needed for hand washing and cleaning of equipment. Ware washing machine is reaching appropriate temperature for sanitizing of equipment as it has a booster heater on the machine.
