1-2B - certified food protection manager
Regulation: 511-6-1.03(3)(b) - certification requirements/exemptions (pf)
No certified food safety manager on the staff at the time of inspection. CA: At least one employee that has supervisory and management responsibility and the authority to direct and control food preparation and service shall be a certified food safety manager who has shown proficiency of required information through passing a test that is part of an accredited program that conforms to the national standards for organizations that certify individuals. Certified Food Safety Managers must be designated to one food service establishment only and maintain and renew certification in accordance with the requirements of the examination taken. This needs to be corrected ASAP, please call and inform the Bleckley County Health Inspector once a course has been completed and certification has been obtained. Food Safety Questions were correctly answered on site.
2-2D - adequate handwashing facilities supplied & accessible
Regulation: 511-6-1.06(2)(o) - using a handwashing sink- operation & maintenance (pf)
Observed lettuce dumped in the handsink in the kitchen. A handwashing facility may not be used for purposes other than handwashing. COS: Sink cleaned of the lettuce.
