Regulation: .17((1)(c) - proper disinfectant level
At time of inspection, the free chlorine (FCL) level registered at 20.09 ppm (FCL range for this spa is 3.00 - 10.00 ppm). CPO states he believes the spa was shocked recently. The spa must be closed whenever it is shocked, and cannot be opened until free chlorine level is below 10.00 ppm. CPO will drain and refill the spa and adjust chemistry to within range.
Regulation: 511-3-5-.23(5)(c ) - (c) the pump, automatic disinfectant equipment, or other equipment necessary for continuous filtration and disinfection of the swimming pool, spa, or recreational water park attraction is not working or is unable to maintain adequate turnover rate.
At time of inspection, the pump housing is cracked and leaking. CPO will order a new pump housing and replace it ASAP.
