-Observed employee drink (bottle of water) stored next to food product in prep cooler. CA: PIC had employee remove drink. Educated PIC on proper storage of employee drinks. Must have lid and straw. Cannot be stored over on on prep tables. Drinks cannot be stored next to or over food product, single service items and clean dishes.
14A - in-use utensils: properly stored

-Observed spoons used for rice stored in standing water. -Observed bowl without handle being used as a scoop (x 2) in bulk dry goods. PIC removed spoons from standing water for wash/rinse/sanitize. PIC discard singles services bowls being used for scoop in bulk dry goods. Educated PIC on proper storage of in-use utensils. In a clean dry location, in the food product with the handle facing out, or water hot-held above 135 degrees F.
