2-1B - hands clean and properly washed
Regulation: 511-6-1.03(5)(c) - when to wash (p)
Observed food employee pick up cell phone off the floor then proceeded to don gloves and place multiple sliced of bread in a container. Advised PIC that food employees shall wash hands and exposed portions of their arms immediately before engaging in food preparation including working with expoed food and before donning gloves to initiate a task that involves working with food. COS: PIC discarded bread and removed gloves to wash hands.
2-2E - response procedures for vomiting & diarrheal events
Regulation: 511-6-1.03(6) - clean-up of vomiting and diarrheal events(pf)
Observed facility without EPA approved disinfectant in order to respond to vomit/fecal events. Advised PIC that procedures and EPA-approved disinfectant shall be on-site in order to effectively respond to vomit/fecal events. COS: Food employee obtained EPA-approved disinfectant.
13A - posted: permit/inspection/choking poster/handwashing
Regulation: 511-6-1.02(1)(d) - displaying of the inspection report (c)
Upon arrival, observed the 2025 Food Service Establishment permit posted in public view. Advised PIC that a current Food Service Establishment permit shall be posted in public view at all times. Advised PIC to obtain the 2026 permit and post in public view.
15A - food and nonfood-contact surfaces cleanable, properly designed, constructed, and used
Regulation: 511-6-1.05(6)(a) - good repair & proper adjustment (c)
Observed the front food service RIC #1 with an ambient temperature of 43.8 F. Advised PIC equipment shall be maintained in a state of repair and condition that meets the requirements specified under subsections (1) and (2) of the Rule. Advised PIC to have unit serviced.
