Advised PIC all furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement of this Chapter, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin

Observed debris behind headrest for room 105, Observed following violations for room 108: Hole in protector, stains on mattress cover, stain on pillow. Observed stains on bed cover, and stain on mattress protector for room 227. Advised PIC beds, mattresses, springs, slats, mattress pads, mattress and bed coverings, pillow and pillow covers shall be clean and free from vermin

Upon arrival, observed no inspection report posted in public display. Advised PIC the most recent tourist accommodation inspection report form shall be prominently displayed in public view at all times, between five feet and seven feet from the floor and in a public area such as the registration desk, where it can be read at a distance of one foot away

Observed stains on ceiling throughout bathroom area (Room 108), stains on vent for Room 209 and Room 227. Advised PIC toilet rooms and fixtures must be smooth and nonabsorbent and shall be kept clean and in good repair. Walls, floors, and ceilings shall be constructed of easily cleanable nonabsorbent materials and shall be kept clean and in good repair

Observed visible light entry at the guestroom entrance door in rooms 105, 108, 209, 208, 227. Advised PIC that openings to the outside shall be effectively protected against the entrance of rodents and insects by tight-fitting doors. Advised PIC to place weatherstrip/sealant on all guestroom entrance doors

Observed ice machine panel in need of cleaning during time of inspection. Advised PIC in existing tourist accommodations permitted prior to the adoption of this rule, the use of existing self-service ice-storage bins may be continued, provided that the machines are maintained in good repair and capable of being properly cleaned and sanitized according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Advised PIC to thoroughly clean the white panel of the ice machine

Observed staining on multiple ceiling tiles due to severe water damage in the laundry area. Advised PIC that laundry areas shall be kept clean, and in good repair. Advised PIC to replace ceiling tiles in the laundry area

Observed stained pillows, pillow cases, holes on mattress pad and debris on mattress protector in rooms 102, 110, 201, 211, 221. Advised to replace

observed single-service coffee stirrers not commercially pre-wrapped in dining area, not stored to protect from contamination. Advised PIC single-service utensils (coffee stirrers) shall be stored to protect from contamination
