Observed hot water not working properly at handwashing sink in the men restroom. CA: Hot water generation and distribution systems shall be sufficient to meet the peak hot water demands throughout the food service establishment. PIC will have until 05/24/24 to have water repaired at handwashing sink in the men restroom.

Observed no employee handwashing sign at employee handwashing sink in the kitchen area. CA: A sign or poster that notifies food employees to wash their hands shall be provided at all handwashing sinks used by food employees and shall be clearly visible to food employees. PIC will put an employee handwashing sign at the employee handwashing sink in the kitchen area.

Observed slime build up in the large ice machine in screened in area. CA: Except when dry cleaning methods are used as specified under subsection (7)(e) of this Rule, surfaces of utensils and equipment contacting food that is not time/temperature control for safety food shall be cleaned: In equipment such as ice bins. PIC will clean ice machine.

Observed no disposable hand towels ate employee handwashing sink. CA: Each handwashing sink or group of adjacent handwashing sinks shall be provided with:

1. Individual, disposable towels; Pf

2. A continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel; Pf

3. A heated-air hand drying device; Pf or

4. A hand drying device that employs an air-knife system that delivers high velocity, pressurized air at ambient temperatures.Pf PIC will put disposable hand towels at employee handwashing sink by today.

Observed alive frogs inside of large ice machine filled with ice. CA: Except when dry cleaning methods are used as specified under subsection (7)(e) of this Rule, surfaces of utensils and equipment contacting food that is not time/temperature control for safety food shall be cleaned: In equipment such as ice bins. PIC will have ice machine drained, cleaned and sanitized by today.

Observed no employee handwashing sign in women restroom. CA: A sign or poster that notifies food employees to wash their hands shall be provided at all handwashing sinks used by food employees and shall be clearly visible to food employees. PIC will put an employee handwashing sign in women restroom.

Observed faucet on right side of three compartment sink with a leak on the cold water handle side. CA: In a clean, protected location if the utensils, such as ice scoops, are used only with a food that is not time/temperature control for safety food. PIC will have leak fixed on faucet on right side of three compartment sink.

Observed ice scoops on top of ice machine not properly covered. PIC stated that they have a lid for the container but does not know where it went. CA: During pauses in food preparation or dispensing, food preparation and dispensing utensils shall be stored: In a clean, protected location if the utensils, such as ice scoops, are used only with a food that is not time/temperature control for safety food. PIC will have scoops cleaned and sanitized and properly covered for protection.
