Observed the emergency phone not operating properly. When calling the police, the phone goes to immediate dial tone as if the police station was hanging up. This was attempted up to 5 times. No one picked up. The answering machine would pick up and state that it takes 30 seconds for the phone to connect, but the phone never connected

Other violations of the chapter: Emergency, pool operator, and health department numbers should be posted by phone. Was missing pool operator and Dekalb public health number.

13-190(a) Observed flow meter operating at 51gpm with a 11.4 hour turn over rate which is higher than the required 4 hour flowrate. CA: Equipment shall be operated continuously on a 24 hour basis to obtain the minimum required number if four turnovers per day or every 4-6 hours. Discussed with CPO to contact Leon to discuss equipment managment to obtain proper turnover rate for a pool with a fountain (feature). Pool has been considered a general pool without features until today; knowledge that pool and fountain are on the same system was given by the CPO. Leon.smith@dph.ga.gov
13-190(a)(7): Observed flow meter on return line measuring to 120gpm the highest on a system that needs a flow meter of at least 145.8gpm up to 220gpm. CA: An adequately sized flow meter shall be installed on he return line to accurately indicate the circulation rate in gallons per minute (GPM). The lowest rate on this system (minimum) is 145.8 gpm.
