Chorine must be maintained between 3.0 & 10.0 ppm. The 1st reading was 0.84 and the 2nd reading was 9.24 ppm.
19 - adequate turnover rate
Regulation: 511-3-5-.07(1)(a) - (a) the equipment for a swimming pool shall be of adequate size to turn over the entire pool water capacity. the turnover rate for pools constructed after the adoption of this chapter shall not exceed the sum of one and one-half times the average wat
An adequate turnover rate would have a flowmeter reading of 79 at the minimum. I observed 40 gpm, which isn't sufficient.
36 - daily recordkeeping: water testing and self inspection performed
Regulation: 511-3-5-.22(12) - (12) a safety self-inspection shall be conducted daily by the trained operator or responsible person and documented on a log sheet.
The log sheet was very inconsistent with either 1 reading a day or no readings for an entire day.
17 - skimmers/gutters maintained and operable
Regulation: 511-3-5-.11(3)(g) - (g) the skimmer equalizer lines shall be protected by an approved cover/grated with a flow rating equal the maximum system flow divided by the number of skimmers in the system or the maximum flow rating of the skimmer, whichever is greater.
Skimmers were not circulating or maintained initially, but this was corrected after the CPO arrived.
37 - other violations of the chapter
Pool surface and sidewalls must be free of dirt, debris, or sediment.
